Check holiday hours and last-vehicle acceptance times before setting out. Registration counters can have different hours from inspection lanes.

Official RTA inspection and booking

On RTA's service page, use Start Now to open booking. Select your vehicle, inspection type, centre and available time; this link does not reserve a slot at Al Yalayis Vehicle Testing (DIP). RTA requires appointments for registration, renewal and export-with-plates inspections, with exceptions explained in the current RTA inspection service (checked 2026-10-07). Check those rules before planning a walk-in.

Prepare for your inspection

  • Bring your vehicle registration card (Mulkiya) and Emirates ID.
  • Arrange valid insurance first if the visit is tied to registration renewal.
  • Confirm your vehicle category and transaction with Al Yalayis, including specialist tests and service-counter hours.
  • Use the pre-test checklist for preparation; it cannot predict a test result.
  • Check the branch name and entrance in the map results before departure.

This is an independent directory entry, not an operator booking page. Current operator information takes priority over the details shown here.
