Where to go
The Shamil centre handles testing and registration in one place, which suits a renewal: test the car, then complete the paperwork without travelling again. With a single verified centre, check its hours before you set off, and confirm it tests your vehicle type if you have a motorcycle, heavy vehicle or trailer. MOI does not publish an appointment rule for testing.
If you need another option, the nearest verified centres are in Ajman's Al Jurf area and in Ras Al Khaimah. Ask before travelling to another emirate's centre with an Umm Al Quwain-registered car.
Shamil's branch map, phone and published hours were checked against Emarat's branch page on 19 October 2026. Use that branch pin rather than a city-centre search and confirm the entrance.
