The directory lists Shamil Fujairah and National Technical Testing (NTT) on the Dibba–Masafi road in the north. Licensing runs through the federal Ministry of Interior (MOI) system. MOI lists AED 150 for a light-vehicle test and AED 50 for a retest, and renewal of a private car costs AED 350.

Before you go
- Bring the vehicle, the registration card and your Emirates ID; MOI lists the ownership card and ID for the test.
- Settle outstanding fines and arrange 13 months of insurance before renewing.
