ADNOC vehicle inspection: locations, tests and fees
Find ADNOC inspection centres in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and other emirates. Check test types, published fees and branch details before travelling.

Find an inspection centre, not just a fuel station
Some ADNOC stations have inspection lanes; many do not. In the official station finder, select Vehicle Inspection and check the station name and number. A car wash, workshop or 24-hour fuel service does not establish that testing is available.
- Abu Dhabi: compare Yas Mall, Khalifa City and Motor World in Al Shamkha.
- Al Ain: check Falaj Hazza, Al Bateen or Sanayiyya. Do not use a similarly named cafe as the inspection destination.
- Al Dhafra: the Madinat Zayed centre is in Al Dhafra, not at the Madinat Zayed shopping-centre station in Abu Dhabi city.
- Sharjah and Ajman: start with Al Mirqab, Al Taawun or Al Talla 797, then confirm your vehicle and transaction.
The ADNOC centre finder brings these locations together. Branch pages show source-checked site locations or a name search when a suitable pin is not confirmed.
Renewal test, used-car check or chassis measurement?
For registration renewal, ask for the technical inspection required for your vehicle. A comprehensive condition report for a used-car purchase is a different product; do not buy it as a substitute for the required renewal test.
ADNOC's inspection FAQ lists comprehensive testing at Muroor, Motor World, Mahawi, Car Care Centre and Falaj Hazza. It also describes chassis measurement at Falaj Hazza. For an electric vehicle, ADNOC's campaign page identifies dedicated EV lanes at Abu Dhabi Muroor and Al Ain Al Bateen. Check the selected branch for your model; this is not a promise of EV lanes at every site.

These are the prices on ADNOC's VIC page, checked on 19 October 2026. The page does not state a universal retest deadline or a separate rate for every vehicle category. Confirm the applicable test, charges and return conditions before paying. Registration, insurance and repairs are separate costs.
Hours and the next step after passing
ADNOC directs drivers to its app or map listing for VIC hours. Check the inspection service itself: station opening hours and a single day's locator hours are not a dependable weekly testing timetable.
Passing the test does not renew the registration. For an Abu Dhabi renewal, follow the TAMM renewal steps and check your insurance and outstanding requirements. Do not assume every inspection lane has a registration-processing counter.
ADNOC is not Dubai's RTA booking system. If the vehicle is registered elsewhere, confirm acceptance for that transaction with the registration authority before travelling. The appointment guide separates the available routes by emirate.
Questions before an ADNOC visit
Can I test my car at any ADNOC station?
No. Use the inspection filter in ADNOC's locator and select an inspection-enabled site, not just the nearest fuel station.
Does a comprehensive test include registration renewal?
It is a condition assessment, not the renewal transaction. Ask for the statutory test needed for your vehicle and complete renewal through the relevant authority.
Can I turn up without booking?
Check the chosen VIC's arrangements for your test. Do not apply Dubai appointment rules to an ADNOC branch in another emirate.
