Where Tajdeed is, and which vehicles it tests

Tajdeed is in Al Ruwayyah 3, near Dubai Silicon Oasis and Dubai Academic City on the E611 side. Use the Al Ruwayyah centre listing to check the map destination, or open Tajdeed's location and contact page. Do not mistake the Dubai Silicon Oasis landmark for an address inside the community.

RTA's branch-specific inspection list includes light vehicles, heavy vehicles, classical vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers at Tajdeed. It does not list motorcycles. Tajdeed's own FAQ also says it does not currently provide motorcycle testing.

For a truck or trailer, give the centre the vehicle category and inspection purpose before arranging transport. A heavy-vehicle listing does not establish that every industrial machine can use an ordinary testing lane.

Choose the inspection you actually need

Tajdeed advertises more than renewal testing. Its service overview includes registration, renewal and licensing support, alongside technical inspection.

Keeping your car: start with the renewal inspection requirements, then complete the registration application.
Buying or selling: check the ownership-transfer test and the paperwork for the buyer and seller.
Assessing a used car: Tajdeed advertises a separate comprehensive test. Ask what its report covers; do not buy it assuming it replaces a registration or transfer inspection.

For food-transport vehicles, Tajdeed also lists compartment inspections. These are a separate service from an ordinary roadworthiness test. State what the vehicle carries when asking which inspection to arrange.

Book through RTA for the technical inspection

Open the RTA vehicle inspection service, select your vehicle and test, and choose Tajdeed in Al Ruwayyah 3. Our Dubai booking guide explains the process and exceptions. A workshop appointment or request for a condition report is not automatically an RTA inspection booking.

Confirm the closing time before a late visit

The published timetables disagree. RTA shows 07:00-22:30 Monday to Thursday and Saturday, with Friday 07:00-12:00 and 15:00-22:30; it does not specify Sunday. Tajdeed's contact page closes the Monday-to-Thursday and Saturday sessions at 22:00 and marks Sunday closed. Its FAQ also gives an earlier Friday evening finish than its contact page.

For an evening visit, confirm the final vehicle admission directly using the details on Tajdeed's contact page. The site's reference to 24/7 support is not a 24-hour inspection schedule.

Questions about Tajdeed

Can Tajdeed test a vehicle registered outside Dubai?

Its FAQ says it inspects vehicles registered in other emirates. Before paying, confirm that your registration authority accepts the test for the application you are completing.

Is Tajdeed only for registration renewal?

No. RTA lists several vehicle classes at this centre, and the operator advertises transfer, export and other inspection services. Specify the transaction you need rather than asking only for passing.

Does a successful test complete my Dubai renewal?

No. The registration application still needs its other requirements, including valid insurance and settlement of applicable fines. Follow the Dubai renewal process after receiving the result.
