Wasel Vehicle Testing in Dubai

Choose the right Wasel branch in Dubai: compare Nad Al Hammar, Arabian Centre and Al Jaddaf, then check vehicle types and appointment rules.

Which Wasel branch accepts your vehicle?

A nearby Wasel centre is not always the right one for your test. RTA lists different vehicle categories at the three Dubai branches below. Start with your vehicle class, then choose the location.

Wasel Nad Al Hammar: light and heavy vehicles, classical vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers.
Wasel Arabian Centre (Al Mizhar): light vehicles.
Wasel Al Jaddaf: light vehicles, motorcycles and classical vehicles.

These are the branch-specific categories on RTA's vehicle inspection service, not a promise that every Wasel site offers every test. A motorcycle rider should not use Nad Al Hammar's heavy-vehicle listing as evidence of a motorcycle lane.

Arabian Centre and Al Mizhar refer to the same branch

RTA calls it Wasel Arabian Centre; you may also find it under Al Mizhar or Al Khawaneej Road. The mall's own Wasel listing identifies unit G176. These names should not send you looking for separate centres.

Nad Al Hammar is a different Wasel location. There is also a Shamil centre in Nad Al Hammar, so check the operator name on your appointment and map destination before leaving.

Book the branch, not just the brand

For a Dubai registration, renewal or export-with-plates inspection, use the official RTA inspection service and select the exact centre. Read our Dubai inspection booking steps if you need help choosing the service.

Do not assume you can pay extra to arrive without a booking. RTA's appointment notice specifically excludes Wasel Arabian Centre and Nad Al Hammar from its optional paid walk-in service. Retests and other booking exemptions have separate rules; check the current inspection service for your case.

Keep the test and the renewal separate

Passing the inspection is one step. Completing registration still depends on your insurance, fines and the requirements of your application. For the remaining steps, see Dubai registration renewal. If the vehicle fails, keep the report and arrange the repairs before following the retest guidance.

Questions before visiting Wasel

Does Wasel Arabian Centre test heavy vehicles?

RTA's branch category list shows light vehicles only. Nad Al Hammar is the Wasel branch listed for heavy vehicles.

Which Wasel branch lists motorcycle testing?

Al Jaddaf. Check the motorcycle service and available appointment at that branch before travelling.

Can I use the mall's opening hours for Wasel?

No. Shopping hours are not an inspection-lane timetable. Check the selected branch's testing hours and last admission, especially on Fridays and public holidays.
